Hi,
I am looking to create a set list of labels that the team can use on their different pages so they can choose a label from the list when adding one to their content. Is there a way to do this in Confluence?
Thank you,
@Nader_ Nadine _Consultant_ If I understand you correctly you want the users only to be able to pick form a defined set of labels.
This is not possible by default. As always: there is probably an app for that 😊
I know that Scriptrunner for Confluence comes with a macro 'Add label' which allows you to define a set of labels from which a user can select. This still doesn't prevent a user from adding additional labels using the standard labeling feature.
Obviously, Scriptrunner is way to expensive if you only use it for this purpose. But if you happen to have Scriptrunner already, or you were considering to buy it anyway: then you can use this solution.

Hi @Nader_ Nadine _Consultant_ , just want to clarify that the macro is actually called 'Choose Label' on ScriptRunner for Confluence.
It allows you to set predetermined labels that the user chooses from via a drop-down menu on the page.

Hope that helps.

The labels field is a text field that allow new values to be created by any user. You can find more information on the link below:
