Is there a way to disalbe link preview when editing the page?

Adam Brandizzi July 12, 2023

It is useful that links are displayed with a preview box showing their title and favicon. Yet, when editing the page, these links flicker between the URL and the preview. Like this:

nj7jp-9jsmd

This is really annoying, makes the page slow and even led to some wrong changes.

Is there a way to disable title preview only in edit mode? If no, is there a way to disable it on my personal preferences (instead of reconfiguring  the entire Confluence)?

(Ideally, that flickering would never happen, but I feel I have more chances by just disabling the preview.)

@Adam Brandizzi I believe you can change your link preference here and it will change it https://id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/link-preferences

Thank you! I'd like to change the default only when editing, but that will be helpful enough. I can enable link preview manually later.
