Is there a way to import data into already existing templates?

Problem:

1. I have 600 rows in an excel-sheet.

2. These data have to be inserted as entries matching already created template formats.

3. Every row will some amount of the elements needed will be present - other fields should remain empty.

I've looked at exporting and importing templates (and also looked at the API references), but I cannot find anything related to bulk uploading and bulk-creating template entries.

Hi @Lars Øvlisen

To import structured data, utilize the database CSV import feature if available.

  • For bulk page creation with templates, leverage the REST API with scripting.
  • For Excel-like functionality, consider integrating an app like Elements Spreadsheet.

Note that Confluence doesn't offer a native, one-click solution for bulk page creation with CSV/Excel data, making REST API scripting the most versatile approach

Hope this helps - Happy to help further!!
Thank you very much and have a great one!
Warm regards
