I have a number of word docs that I want to import to confluence but the problem is they get stopped by the size limitation and I often don't know which image is the culprit.
Are there any tools that can automatically resize all images in a word doc.
I want a way to automatically ensure I don't get this message or at least I only have to worry about the image that is causing the problem
Hi @Daniel Park
couldn't find an answer specially for Cloud - but for Server there is a known solution to config office connector see here. All settings are documented here.
Hope this may help.
Hi Daniel,
I am not on the Confluence Team, but I will try to help.
Could you try removing some of the images from the word doc first, then do the import, then add the images to the Confluence page?
You could also, temporarily, increase the maximum attachment size.
For Confluence Cloud: https://confluence.atlassian.com/confcloud/configuring-attachment-size-724765525.html
For Confluence Server: https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/configuring-attachment-size-150040.html
I hope that helps!

The problem with removing all the images first is it takes are really long time to go through the document remove all the images.
There is no problem with the actual attachment size as its under 1MB
