Issue with Page Tree Macro

SUMMIT September 17, 2019

We are using Page Tree macro in our Space to display the TOC. We want to use the @self in the Root Page parameter, but it does not seem to recognize the @self as valid input.

We also tried with using page name in the Root Page parameter. Although, it displays the expected pages in the TOC in Preview section, but, when we save the page, the TOC is not getting generated.

Referred to the following help link:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/page-tree-macro-163414255.html

Please help.

Attached are a few screenshots.

Hi @SUMMIT - Have you tried using @self, ignoring the error and saving the macro and page?  I have seen that macro complain about @self in the macro dialog but still work as expected.

Hello Michael,

Yes, we did. It displays a blank TOC.

This may be an index problem.  You may want to reindex Confluence to see if it resolves the issue.  Otherwise the next step would be contacting Atlassian support.
