Some background:
We have been using the Confluence knowledge base for several years and hosting our own server.
However, at this time I would like to put some of this into an Atlassian hosted solution and leverage all of the integrated tools.
Our old Confluence server is on version 3.02, Confluence on-demand is a much newer version so I need to not only export/import select spaces, but I also need to upgrade it.
I've installed 3.02 standalone locally and exported each of the spaces I need. However, when I import the spaces, some of the pages are missing. There was no error message displayed and all of the pages that are there appear to work just fine.
I've tried to alter the logging to determine the cause of the problem, but with SQLLogging on, a 10 minute import took over 3 hours. (I killed it at 3) Any other logging doesn't seem to give me useful information.
I'm not sure where to go from here, has anyone run into this?
Thanks,
-Stephen
When importing pre-existing pages to a new dataset: Pages restricted to a group or user may not be visible, even if the group is re-added later.
After importing, remove the restrictions from each page to restore page visibility.
