Hallo,
If I'm in the wrong place, please let me know.
I have a Problem:
A user is registered as a user in 2 areas: Area A, Area B
In both areas, they are allowed to read and edit the created pages.
In area A, the user is allowed to create new pages, new templates, etc. In area B, the user is allowed to create new pages, new templates, except for one: Meeting Notes. (In area A, the user can create Meeting Notes.) Throughout area B, the user is not allowed to create Meeting Notes. They will receive a notification/message:
Not allowed. You are not permitted to perform this function.
At first glance, it seemed like a permissions issue. We thoroughly reviewed all the settings and found nothing. We even removed the person from the system and added them back again. We temporarily granted them administrative rights, but nothing changed. The person can do everything in Area B, such as managing pages and templates, but they still cannot create "Meeting Notes".
What could be the cause? What else can we check?
Thank you in advance for your answers.
Best regards
Magdalena
I had raised a similar issue with support and after sending them a database export they were able to determine that at least in my case, it was due to a page restriction. To be clear, it wasn't a page restriction on the page I was trying to add the meeting note to, but another page in the space. You may be able to open a support case and get them to help you find the problematic restriction, or if you don't have many page restrictions in the space in question, you could remove them one by one to find the one that's causing the issue.
