In the Confluence editor (Cloud edition), the keyboard shortcut to pull up the JIRA issue/filter macro, Cmd+Shift+J no longer works in Chrome (as of about September 2017). Now it goes to the Chrome "downloads"screen.
I was excited to see a message in Confluence about the new editor UI, specifically highlighting the fact that Atlassian resolved keyboard shortcut conflicts with "your favorite browser."
Any workaround? Any idea when this will be fixed?
Hi Shawn,
Just tested this myself in my Cloud instance with the new editor, using Chrome Version 62.0.3202.75, the latest version.
I do get the downloads screen in Chrome when I am NOT editing a page, but the moment I start editing a Confluence page, and place my cursor on the page, it opens the Jira Issues Macro screen.
Do you have any updates for Chrome at the moment? Perhaps an add-on in Chrome might be causing the problem?
Kind Regards,
Shannon
What was the resolution of this?
5 years later, I have the exact same issue. Is there an easy, intuitive way to add jira tickets in a confluence page?

I am on MacOS, ctrl+shift+J works for me. If the issue is on Windows, I'd assume alt+shift+J would work where ctrl does not?
