JIRA search for JIRA issue/filter macro in Confluence

Nadia Leclercq May 29, 2019

Hi there,

I am working to create documentation from Confluence using JIRA macro. One of my requirements is as follows:

  • Retrieve user story from Project A
    • ID
    • Summary
    • Description
  • Retrieve linked issue ONLY from Project B
    • ID only

At the moment, any issue ID from issues linked to the story are surfaced.

Thanks for your help!

Hi Nadia,

What's the specific question you're asking? Do you need help with the filter?

If so, what version of Jira are you at? If you're above 8.0, see here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/jira-query-issues-with-linked-issues/qaq-p/426769

Even that won't give you the ability to do the "Only from Project B" part. If you have JQL tricks or another plugin installed, you can use hasLinks() and potentially exclude all other projects but the one you're trying to include.

Great thanks Devin! That is exactly the info I needed.
