Hello everyone,
I want to create a JQL that shows Issues that has a link to Issues from specific projects, something like:
Hierarchy: Issue Father "contributes to" Issues in projects (project 1, 2, 3...)
return
>list of Issue Father
Help!
I’m Maurício, a support engineer at Digital Toucan and I’m here to help you.
Unfortunately, using JQL of Jira, you’ll not be able to do it.
In the app where my team works, JQL Search Extensions for Jira, we have the aliases LinkedByIssueProject that works searching for issues that are linked by issues from a particular project.
linkedByIssueProject = A
We also have the opposite, LinksIssueProject which searches for issues that link to issues from a particular project.
linksIssueProject= A
Please contact our support if you have any other questions about this query.
We’ll be happy to help you!
Best regards,
Maurício
1. You can use linkedIssues() JQL as described here https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/advanced-search-reference-jql-functions/
issue in linkedIssues(AA-1,"relates to")
2. By using script runner for Jira cloud:
Only thing is here to use the nested filter to fetch the required result:
Project = XXX and issuetype = Story and issuefunction in linkedIssuesOf("project = XXX and issutype != Bug")
