I've been experiencing some performance issues with Confluence lately. We are on a fairly new build. Not bad, but like 3-5 second pauses every so often. Our install+home size is 55GB. We have about 270K users in the directory that is attached to confluence, but probably less than 150 people use the service at one time.
We started a few years ago with 2 cores, 8GB ram total, 4GB heap.
Today we are at: 4 cores, 24GB ram total. 12GB java heap.
If you don't mind, I'd like to get an idea what other people's systems are like. Number of users, cores, ram, java heap, etc.
I haven't found an ideal way to simulate our usage in test yet, and making changes to production can take a while, so experimenting with different settings takes a long time.
Hi Jason,
we store around 90GB of data with 500 users where max. 40 are active at the same time. The JVM gets 4GB of total heap size while Synchrony gets 1GB.
Cheers Fabian
