I'm reaching out regarding an issue I'm experiencing with the Jira Cloud for Excel add-in. Despite successfully signing in and selecting the correct site, I continue to receive the following error when attempting to run a JQL query:

"must set field 'siteId' in request"

I have already performed the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. Signed into the Jira Cloud for Excel add-in using my Atlassian account.
  2. Selected the correct Jira site: vertexone-team-rjzxspvl.atlassian.net during the login flow.
  3. Received the "Login Successful" message confirming authentication.
  4. Re-selected the Jira site manually via the add-in menu (☰ → Manage Sites / Switch Site).
  5. Restarted Excel and tried from a brand-new Excel workbook.
  6. Cleared the cached files in:
    %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Wef\
  7. Uninstalled and reinstalled the Jira Cloud for Excel add-in.
  8. Switched to using saved filters, but none of my Jira filters are appearing in the dropdown (despite existing and accessible in Jira).
  9. Attempted both JQL-based and Basic filter imports - both fail with the same or related issues.

Despite all of this, the plugin still throws the same siteId error and does not load saved filters either.

Could you please help me resolve this or let me know if there’s a known issue or workaround?

Thank you for your support,
