Hi,
We are looking into better ways to link Jira issues against requirements.
Currently we are capturing Jira requirements in a confluence table.
Eg. column 1 of a table is a requirement ID. In the Jira issues, we put this id as either a label , in the summary or in the description
We add a Jira issue macro to the table in column 2, and manually put the requirement id in the filter string
project = "My Project" AND text ~ "REQ1.1"
I was wondering if there is a way to dynamically use cell contents in the Jira macro filter?
For instance,
project = "My Project" AND text ~ "<TEXT-IN-COL1>"
is this possible somehow?
Hi @Grant Rolls,
We can suggest trying the app that we develop – Table Filter and Charts for Confluence.
You’ll be able to use several dynamic Jira Issues macros as source tables and combine (merge) them using our macros.
For example, here we have a use case related to combining issues with linked issues coming from another Jira Issues macro. If the link anchor doesn’t work, please navigate to the “Merging Jira Issue table by linked issues and keys”.
And if you are not familiar with the app, we’ll be happy to organize a live demo for you and your team.
