Jira issues macro - view comments

I wonder how I can display comments on jira-tasks with the jira issues macro.
The 'comments' column header does only provide me the number of comments.

Since the comments are within the xml I'm using with the macro, I see no reason why I can't display them.

I used the ServiceRocket/CustomWare add-on at JIRA https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/net.customware.jira.utils.customware-jira-utilities

to create a Last Comments custom fields and then added that to the jiraissue macro configuration. Sadly the text is returned with HTML markup but it may be useful anyway

Hi Jon,

I was able to track down this feature in our bug tracker: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-28700

Unfortunately it wasn't implemented yet, however you can help by voting in the bug and watching the ticket as this increases the priority.
