Jira macro in Confluence not displaying Description field values

I have a Jira filter that I reference successfully in a Jira macro in Confluence.  I see all data as expected except Description values.  I see the values the issues list in Jira, and I see all the other data in the Confluence table, but not Description values.  The Description column is available for selection in the Jira macro and displays in the header.  So frustrating when the simple things don't work.

Hi @Gregory Hodgins welcome to the community.  On my Confluence page, I'm able to see the description without any issues.

I tried it on both Edge and Chrome.  I took a quick look on Atlassian's Jira site (jira.atlassian.com) and didn't find any issues.  You can check to see if I missed anything.

If it continues to be a problem, you could open a ticket with support (support.atlassian.com/contact) and see what they have to say.

Hope that helps.

Interesting.  Yes, I searched and didn't find the exact issue either - and it's pretty basic.  I will look at opening a ticket.  Out of curiosity what type of field is your Description field defined as in Jira?  Mine is a "Wiki Style Renderer", vs. most others being Default Text Renderer.  I wonder if that has anything to do with it?

I will try Chrome too, but I doubt that will be the difference.  I'll only report back if it resolves the issue.

Thanks much.
