Just upgraded to Confluence 7.4. Subsequently, we are unable to paste an image.  We are getting the following error message:  : "Error creating temporary file in folder"  The systems then gives the path to the folder.  We have upgraded Confluence several times over the years but have never received this message/problem.

Hi Ron,

Repi is onto something with the question about the file system. I would check the file system permissions and ensure the user for the app has recursive permissions in both the home and install directory. You may also want to make sure the home directory is set. This page may help. Cheers!

@Ron Boeth

What system is your confluence running on?
Windows, Linux ...?
Is there an error message in the log file?
Can there be a rights problem in the file system?
