Label List macro but for child pages, not the whole space

So I really like the glossary look of the label list macro, it lets me create a browse by topic section. The only problem is it appears to work by space and not by child pages. So for example, I have the app space where we have pages for all our apps. When I go into App1 and put the topic macro there, it shows me all my topics for every app out there. I'd like it to only do the children under the App1 page. I don't think there's any way to make this particular macro do that. Is there another one that can accomplish the same?

I was able to do a workaround like that for recently updated pages -- that macro, again, wants to work with spaces. A specially configured contributors summary got around that issue. 

Or could the answer be that I need to make sub-spaces? Not certain.
