I know Confluence Cloud has a bit of a reputation when it comes to performance, but I have always found it at least workable.
Since a few weeks however, I encounter that on some occasions, the editor takes forever to load. I am using the old editor on all my content, as I maintain a commercial product that also has to work on Server. Usually in the morning it is OK, in the afternoon it starts becoming flaky.
In all cases, a simple refresh is enough to persuade the editor to load. So my routine has become to press E - wait for it - F5 - wait for it - start editing.
So far support is very friendly but useless, as they state they "cannot reproduce it". I have created HAR files as per request, but according to those, everything is OK. Even though I am still sitting here looking at a white screen with a "loading" circle in the middle.
I am in Europe, if that matters. I know it's not limited to my instance or my local system, as I keep on getting this feedback from almost all my EU based clients, and I can also reproduce the problem on their sites, with different hardware.
Does anyone concur?
One hunch that I had myself, is that it actually bogs on determining if the page can be converted to the new editor or not (the thing that usually show on the left bottom - that I have been ignoring for almost two years now).
