I have a requirement to allow users to ask questions anonymously in Confluence. So I'm thinking of using Bob's swift Run macro to achieve this except that I want to submit the question as pre-selected user name "anon" . Do anyone have experience using run macro with Questions.
Create an anonymous user login account with the username and password known to everyone even if they have their own username ....
or create a public access no login Space ... although opening that to anyone to post a comment is really opening your system to al sorts of spam and problems
but surely either is a bit counter productive to the premise of a collaborative Knowledge Management System
Thanks @Rodney Hughes , I have that approach already in place. I was hoping to make this experience a little more seamless by inserting the run macro on the page. Imagine if they want to submit Questions anonymously they hit this button and a pop-up with fields identical to Questions will collect the data and submit to Confluence except that user creds are masked with this "anon" user.
I couldn't find a way to pass the data to Confluence Questions and hence was my query here. Hope that explains.
Thanks
