Limit on permissions

Good Day,

Is there a limit to how many people can be granted access to a space?  I have a space that has 400+ partners in it but when I add a new person, they do not appear.  Someone has to be removed in order for me to grant permissions to another person.  Has anyone else seen this?

There is no limit as such 🙂

What is the confluence log that you get when adding a user?

But for managing such number of users go ahead with creating groups by some factor and then give permissions using groups
