Local Confluence and OnDemand JIRA - What problems arise?

We are considering the OnDemand JIRA option coupled with Download (local) Confluence, which from perusing other answers there doesn't seem to be any problems integrating these two scenarios. Are there other issues I should be aware of? I see syncing discussed, as well as user management, but are there any other pitfalls I should be wary of? Thanks.

I had seen this page before, thank you again. I was seeking any practical experiences from anybody with this setup (OnDemand JIRA and Downloaded Confluence) to see how it worked out for them.
