Lookup and set values directly from an xml webservice response

Hi,

I need to lookup and set values for my confiform fields using a Webservice/API, however the response returned is in XML. Afaik, confiforms requires the response to be in JSON. Is there any way to parse this or use it anyways without needing to use an external service?

Hi @Ryan Kafoor 

ConfiForms attempts to determine the format and convert it to JSON automatically

You can see in the mappings how it does that and what result it gets. Attempt to configure a test web-service backed dropdown field for example, choosing the XML webservice endpoint and check the suggested mappings
