Manage Apps returns Unexpected error trying to update

Hi, upgraded from 6.2 to 6.13.5.  SQL on Win2012, 8GB RAM 64bit

Went to Manage Apps and after a long while it returns Unexpected Error see log for details.

If I can get it to return a list of apps to update and choose to update the universal plugin I then get the same error.  I downloaded the App jar file but have no idea how to install it as Confluence doesn't indicate how!

Strangely, if I use basename url connection ('http://apconfluencetest') the Manage Apps returns Unexpected error with no visible apps but if I use an IPnum:Port connection (eg http://10.242.129.50:8092) then I get a list of Apps returned although going any further regards trying to update it returns same error .  

Checking error log the entries are as below:  looking at later entries It still seems to be arguing about free space but I have increased java memory to 1536 and it is now 43% free.   I am also only running with a single user so there is no load on server at all.

For this kind of issues, the best would be to log a ticket with attlassian support so that they can take a look at it faster.
