Manage Groups

Rodrigo Maccari November 17, 2013

Hi,

I wonder if it is possible to give authorization to a user or group only to add and remove users from local groups?

This user can t have access to Confluence administration, it shoud be a standard user, just with permission to manage users.

Thanks,

Rodrigo Maccari

Hi Rodrigo,

This is not possible as far as I know. There is either Confluence administration or System Administrator. There is no one manage group permission. That would fall under confluence administration.

Hi Rodrigo,

This is not possible, as "admin" rights on confluence database is a single flag that gives access to the whole "Confluence Administration", so if a user has this flag, he/she will have access to all confluence administration panel.
