Migration to different DB (Oracle)

Hi,

I plan to migrate Confluence 3.3 version to Oracle 10g or 11g . I went through documentation number of times and I have few questions. I plan to use method 2 i.e for large attachments migrations (approx 45 G) .

1. Is new install of Confluence 3.3 /home etc mandatory ? In other words, does only the install setup have DB creation scripts ?

2. For large attachments (45G) , how long will it take to move 45 G ? What special setting need to be in place ?
