Hello All-together,
as a project manager I would like to generate a chat representing the milestone prediction to a certain date. As a figure is more worth than a word....I am looking for something similar like this.
How must my table look like and how to set up the tool "chart from table" to retrieve a similar figure?
I am very much looking forward for some hints and ideas!
Thank you
Stephan
Hi @Stephan Schmitz,
I can suggest the following workaround using the Line chart:
Неre you use full months’ names as X-axis values and set numeric values from 1 to 12 that correspond to the months’ numbers for Y-values.
Also you may check our Gantt chart that is rather advanced and may be more suitable for the project tracking.
Dear @Katerina Rudkovskaya _Stiltsoft_ ,
thank you very much for the time spent on my problem, I really do appreciate it. Your tip helped me to get further. It dawned to me that I must somehow modify my requirements and came up with the following.
I changed the months into a date (x-axis) and the project timing I started to count in months (y-axis). Now I can see how different milestones are progressing over time.
However I am not able to modify the x-axis into month year scaling, it stays with date month year...but I can live with that.
thanks for your help
Stephan

You can change the date format in the Reporting column of your source table to have it in the x-axis of the chart then. It's possible to do with the help of Table Transformer.
