Missing attachments after spaces migration from 3.0.1 to 3.4.6

John Cottier December 6, 2011

We have just completed a spaces migration from Confluence 3.0.1 to 3.4.6, all textual content has been imported but none of the attachments.

I have run the 'find missing attachments' script for v 3.4.6 and a list of missing attachments is created, as a result I have created a set of directories containing the original source file in the original format (.JPG/.pdf etc), but the 'find and recover missing attachments' script simply re-lists the missing attachments in the same paths as the files I have copied to the Wiki server, and recovers none of the attachments.

Is there something else I can do here to ensure the attachments are 'attached' to the correct pages?

TIA

Hey John, where were your attachments stored in your Confluence 3.0.1 instance? In the database or on the filesystem in your $CONFLUENCE_HOME directory? Did you copy over the existing $CONFLUENCE_HOME when you migrated?
