Missing images on old confluence pages

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
We have bunch of pages and spaces. Recently (roughly around the update to confluence with "new look" couple of months ago), we started seeing missing images on the confluence pages. There are no attachments on the page. When I looked at the page source, the url of the images pointed to googleusercontent. Did atlassian change the image store and not move the older images?
