Missing tasks after XML migration

Ciao,

I have encountered a problem with missing tasks (not showing) after XML migration ( XML export of original space and then import defined space ).

Specs:
Confluence - old instance 5.6.7. -> new instance 6.5.1
User directory- MS AD read only - same for original and new instance

But new server wasn't created as a copy of the original server, which resolves in different directoryID, but all the info about the users from AD is identical.

Did someone deal with this before or can you give me a hint for a workaround?

Hi Marek,

It looks like you ran into a bug: Importing an XML Export does not create inline tasks and comments correctly The bug is open to comments and votes if you would like to weigh in.

There is a workaround on the bug report that will help the tasks appear, please note that one of the comments indicates it will lose some of the fields:

Note: When the AO_BAF3AA_AOINLINE_TASK is rebuild, all COMPLETE_DATE and UPDATE_DATE values turn to NULL. This is a problem if you have teams utilizing the task report macro. Unfortunately, there is no unique ID to reference in order to copy the dates over either, except CONTENT_ID and ID (in combination) but since CONTENT_ID changes after re-importing a space, you will not be able to get the dates from before the space restore.
