My site makes extensive use of Scaffolding forms for its workflows.
In most cases, a page holding a Scaffolding form would be more reliable in the workflow if the page itself could be secured from inadvertent edits by users.
Users should only be editing form fields via the Scaffolding, not editing the page itself.
However, when I set page restrictions to disallow editing, editing of the Scaffolding form is blocked as well.
What other approaches could I consider to get to the intended result of giving editing access only to the form?
Can the page-level edit control be hidden/displayed by permissions group? Or can the Scaffolding app's own space-level permissions be customized to 'override' the page's edit permissions?
Thank you.
