My JIRA team can't access Confluence

I've created a space on confluence and assumed that I could share this with my Jira team but this isn't the case. I'm unable to tag them in spaces and when I share a specific page in a space with them they are unable to access it despite us being on the same JIRA team. There are no restrictions on the page I'm trying to get them to view.

I've added the team in the space permissions settings page - but even there - when adding them - they couldn't be found. I had to enter their name and press enter, then they were added to the "individual users" section. Any help is appreciated.

Hi Zach,

I also had the same issue when I started, it could be that the users that you are trying to add do not have permissions for Confluence. You can change that (if you are an admin) under 'Site Administration' > Users > and than check the 'Confluence' box under 'Application access'.

Also, it might be a good idea to use groups in this case and add the team to a certain group. Afterwards, you can add the team under the 'Groups' section in the permission page and any new members of the group could view the page without adding them individually.
