My space is missing

My Confluence space is now missing. Due to some reasons, I could not log in and check my spaces for a couple of months now. But when I logged back and checked, I could not see my space. It shows empty. How can I retrieve it?

Hi @Ananthu Anil 

We're sorry to hear you are no longer able to find your spaces.

Checking the site associated with the account you used to create this post, I can see the Confluence product was suspended on Oct, 2024, and then deactivated back in Dec, 2024.

It seems to have happened as the site was not active for some time before that date and emails have been sent months before to get back into the site, as in the Free subscription, you must be active once in a while to keep you subscription.

See What is the Free Jira Cloud plan? - Inactive Free products will be deactivated for more information

If you have any backups from your data, it is possible to import it back to your site.

Hi @Ananthu Anil 

It is possible in some scenarios, to try recovering the data in a best effort, even though this is not supported, by engaging with our internal teams, and even in this scenario, it is not guaranteed we are able to recover your data back.

In this scenario mentioned, it is possible only to try recovering the data when the deletion happens and the product reactivation/request to have the data back is within days of the deactivation/deletion.

Since the deactivation and deletion of your data happened months ago, it wouldn't be possible to recover the data through support.

It is only possible to recover now, if you had any backups taken prior to the deactivation.

Were you using the free Confluence? If yes Atlassian usually notify you that if you didn't log in for some time they will delete the space.
