Hey Community.

I've been looking into this use case and haven't been able to find any solutions as of yet.

Our particular use case is this:

  • A user searches for a particular word/phase
  • The user can then navigate to the particular paragraph on the page where that particular word/phase is located

Looking to make it easier for users to navigate directly to a particular word/phrase rather than having to search again on the page.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Tyler

Hello, Tyler!

I just wanted to let you know that I created a feature request for this exact thing below:

It would help if you can vote on that to help show the interest for such a feature. Please also comment there with your usage case to help to understand how the feature should be implemented.

One more thing, we have another feature request you might be interested in here:

There are a few third party add-ons that deal with search in Confluence. I'm not very familiar with them, but they might be worth checking out in case one of them helps with your requirement.

I hope this helps!

Regards,

Shannon
