Team, I need Admin permission to secure our existing page: https://confluence.honeywell.com/display/ACSWIKI/ACS+VECE+Home
It was created by my previous boss, and he left the organization now. We just observed that the page is not secure and can be modified by anyone, which is big risk with our all-existing contents.
How Can I get Admin role / access to restrict our page to get modified by anyone. I need full control on the same. Please suggest...
Hi @Ashwini Singh and welcome to the community,
You have to impose page restriction about editing the page. You don't need to be an admin of the space, or confluence admin. You just have to speak to your admin about granting you the permission to restrict pages. Read more about them here https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/add-or-remove-page-restrictions/
To contact your admin, if they have setup the contact form go here: https://YOURDOMAIN.atlassian.net/wiki/contactadministrators.action
If you happen to have Jira as well, then go here https://YOURDOMAIN.atlassian.net/jira/contact-administrator
Let me know if the above helps.
Hi Ashwini,
You can check with Confluence Site Admin to provide you the admin permission for this affected space. Once you got access then please check in permission, if there is any global group have access or else other users access and from there you can revoked the access for invalid users.
Please, refer this article to get the more information: https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/assign-space-permissions/
Regards,
Mahesh Shinde
