Need a search which finds all occurences on pages in a tree

Hi all,

I am looking for a search for a page tree, where it lists all occurences on all sub-pages.

Problem is, that it lists only the pages and the first occurence on the pages, but when the search-word is available several times on a page, this is not reflected in the search results, but would be good so see all occurences.

(I know, that pages should be not so text heavy, but unfortunately they are sometimes text heavy.)

Is there an easy possibility?
Or a good an easy app available?

Thanks :-)

Hi Deborah,

To clarify, are you looking to search within the physical page content or just the hierarchy level?

Many thanks

Matt

@Matthew_Christiansen_Adaptavist I think she means that if she searches in the space/instance for the word "bicycle," and the word appears 27 times on a page, the results show all 27 places on the page that the word occurs.

@Deborah Frommer please correct me if this is not what you're trying to do.

yes, that's exactly what I am looking for.
But not only on one single page.
In a page tree:
E.g.: the page tree has one parent page with content and 10 sub-pages and the word "bicycle" appears on 3 sub-pages:

  • in one page once (1)
  • in the second page 5 times
  • and in the third page 27 times,

then I would like to see all 1+5+27 = 33 places and results and not only the link to the 3 pages.
