Nesting expand macros using API calls returns "BadRequestException: Content body cannot be converte"

I'm trying to automatically write a page with nested expands.

I'm able to write to the page without a problem as long as the expands are after one another, but I receive a "BadRequestException: Content body cannot be converted to new editor format", whenever I try to nest one into the other.

Is it just not possible to do so, or do I have to adjust the API calls to be able to do that?

There's another discussion with the same error, and in this thread, there are a few different things that others have tried, and it worked for them. Read through the thread here:

• "Content body cannot be converted to new editor format" error when updating page content.  

If that doesn't help, can you show us the query you sent and the full results?

the proposed solution works for me, even though I still get a message about conversion issues on the page itself, but everything is now displayed just fine.

Thank you for confirming the solution worked for you. In the Confluence UI, you see errors on the page you created? Feel free to create a new question with those screenshots, and we can investigate it for you further!
