New Server ID in Licensing (atlassian.com)

Stian Espe May 2, 2019

I recently bought a 10 users license for testing at my company, firstly this were used to set up a local VM on my machine.

Now we are installing Confluence on a dedicated server, and I am not able to "Change server ID" in the Atlassian Licensing page.

How do I accomplish this? I know it were possible earlier (4-5 years ago).

Thanks,

If you are not planning on decommissioning the old box you will want to update it's license key to a development key. Then you can apply the production key to the new server.

Found that the license is not bound to server ID, as I actually thought it were.
