I'm not receiving password reset or verification emails from Atlassian

Basem Abdulrahem April 1, 2018

When I tried to reset the password from the login page by email. I didn't receive any mail from Confluence... Although, The SMTP is configured properly and I can receive test mails.

Could you please advice?

Basem,

Is this Cloud or Server? When you say that they're not coming from Atlassian I assume you mean Cloud, but then when you mentioned the SMTP setup is correct, you could mean Server since Cloud doesn't have any SMTP setup options.

If you have Cloud, then it's possible at some point your email server returned a 550 error saying the user didn't exist, and then it got blocked in our system. For this, you can create a support ticket and provide us your email address there and we can have a look.

If you have Server, then the emails don't actually come from Atlassian, and come from your SMTP server. I would ask your email server admin to check the server for that, as well as for your Confluence server admin to check the logs on that end to see what's going on. Let me know if you have any trouble with that step!

Regards,

Shannon

No.

When I send a test mail from SMTP configuration, I can find the mail in the spam folder. But When I tried to reset the password from the login page, I didn't get anything anywhere.
