My normal workflow is to create a list.
After step one I want to insert an image but can't see how to do it.
The online answers seem to say to create the numbered list and then do a Shift-Enter to enter an image after the steps are completed. I just wish I could enter a numbered step and then insert images as I create them. Then go on to the next step.
Is there any hope for me? :)
Ken
Hi @Ken Jacobs
I'm not understanding your question, can you give more context, by adding a step by step plan and add screenshots
Thanks for the reply.
I want to create steps in a page.
For instance how to create a new account.
I am used to adding the step and then immediately inserting the related image. Because I take screenshots as I work through the procedure.
But of course that breaks the contiguous numbering.
1. First step
2. Second step
Insert image
3. Third step
It seems the only way is to create all the written steps and then use Shift+Enter to allow me to insert the image without breaking the numbering sequence.

Hi @Ken Jacobs
Yes this is the way to do this.
You need to use shift-enter, the same applies in word, if you use steps.
Using a hard return sets the next numbering.
