Hi, I had to delete my personal space. Now I want to create a new one, but the option is no longer available in my profile options. I see only the option to ask my admin to restore my space, but when I click it, nothing is happening. Help pls.

In Confluence Cloud, each user can only have one personal space. Once it's deleted, the system doesn't allow you to create a new one manually

Even if you see the “Ask your admin to restore your space” button, sometimes it doesn’t trigger any visible action (no confirmation message, no email sent), especially if:

  • You are not an admin
  • Or the admin hasn’t enabled personal space creation

I suggest this 2 option:

Option 1: Contact your Confluence administrator directly

Option 2: Ask admin to check deleted spaces

If you're an admin (or can ask one), go to:

  • Confluence Admin → Space Settings → Trash (Deleted Spaces)
  • Look for your old personal space (it will be listed under your username)
  • Click Restore
