OKTA Authorisation and REST API

Hi,

I am trying to access the Confluence REST API from behind OKTA SSO, I believe this is set up as recommended, however Using a PAT to access this service is resulting in OKTA blocking the request, is there another approach that I need to take in order to get this functioning?

Welcome to the Atlassian Community.

If you are using the bundled SSO App (for Data Center), then this should work just fine with Okta.

Besides this, there are other approaches to integrate Okta with Confluence, such as through Marketplace Apps, Okta's own authenticator and through a reverse proxy.
These could be interfering on the REST API usage.

Do you happen to know how Okta is configured for your Confluence instance?
