Hi,
I am trying to look at configuring Atlassian MCP Server but rather than relying on the Atlassian to create the managed app on first user logon and do oauth, I want to create the OAuth app upfront and use the Authorization workflow to generate the access token.
This access token could then be used to invoke MCP calls on user behalf.
Is this setup possible with Atlassian MCP?

"headers": {
"Authorization": "Bearer <USER_OAUTH_ACCESS_TOKEN>"
}
}
}
}
Hi @Rahul Arora ,
I'd recommend checking out the following group, specifically related to the MCP server: Atlassian Rovo MCP Server
I'm no expert on this topic, so I'll reach out to forum moderators to convert this to a discussion in the mentioned group.
Alternatively, you could check Developer Community and reach out to them as you'll probably get better support there 👀
Cheers,
Tobi
