I have embedded office ppt and word in my confluence page. But as i see their is no option to specify that i only want to view single page at a time with side buttons. 

RIght now all the pages are loaded very slowly in the single confluence page. How to make the page only show single page at a time?

Unfortunately, the /ppt PowerPoint preview macro does not have any options that would allow for single page viewing. The only functionality it supports is scrolling through a PowerPoint document. 

While I do not have any empirical evidence to support this, I have found that PDF and PowerPoint documents do speed up their rendering over time. i am not sure if this is due to any sort of caching taking place, but they do tend to load and scroll faster over time.
