Hi. If I add Word documents as attachments to a page. I see that I can open those in Word and edit them there. But are those changes tracked in any way, so that I could revert to a previous version? It doesn't seem so, but maybe I missed something...

They sure are. In the attachments section of each page next to each attachment is a sideways chevron. Click the chevron to expand the attachment versions. There is no easy rollback option, but you can download a previous version and re-upload it to rollback.
