Front page of our Wiki contains the ‘Activity Stream’ Macro. It renders the following error:

Error rendering macro 'gadget' : The gadget at https://icfironworks.atlassian.net/rest/gadgets/1.0/g/com.atlassian.streams.streams-jira-plugin:activitystream-gadget/gadgets/activitystream-gadget.xml was not added to this Confluence instance yet.

OnDemand Page giving the error:

Guy, I believe we have already solved this problem through our support website. Remember me? :)

Anyway, I just want to post here, so that everyone can know that this is a recently discovered BUG which is currently being tracked here:

Fortunately, there is a workaround we can perform on our side to get the gadgets working again until this is fixed. So please, if you are reading this post and facing this problem, create a ticket at support.atlassian.com informing the error message that Confluence is throwing. For example,

Error rendering macro 'gadget' : The gadget at https://YOURINSTANCE.atlassian.net/rest/gadgets/1.0/g/com.atlassian.streams.streams-jira-plugin:activitystream-gadget/gadgets/activitystream-gadget.xml was not added to this Confluence instance yet.

And we'll get it working again!

Hope it helps =]

Cheers,

Arthur Mack

We have the same issue, infact if I go and try and insert the activity macro in a new page the macro is missing and existing pages with this macro either error out or will not let you update the macro with new filters etc. I am guessing this is all related to the recent gadget issues in confluence cloud.
