We are looking at installing the OneDrive and SharePoint for Confluence plugin (in a data center environment) and need to confirm a few things before we can move forward.
We need confirmation of what level of access users from Confluence have to SharePoint/OneDrive. Are user level access permissions being maintained so users only see those items in Sharepoint/OneDrive that they would see if accessed directly from those applications and not Confluence? Is the plugin using delegated permissions to check access?
Hi William,
Here is Alexandre from ikuTeam, an Atlassian marketplace partner, and I'd like to suggest you try our Team Files app, which is a file manager for Confluence that makes possible attaching files and folders to Confluence pages, one-click editing files and connecting folders from multiple clouds or server storages to build a single source of truth.
In the app admin settings is possible to select edit permissions for SharePoint and OneDrive, which requires that users sign with their Office 365 accounts, so the correct permissions are applied to each user.
Any doubts, just let me know.
Best,
Alexandre
