Open the link of an image in a new tab

I have read the post about opening external link in a new tab by following this howto. This works really nicely.

How about opening the link of an image only in a new tab. What will be the code ?

Hi Michael,

Unfortunately I'm not familiar with javascripting but it appears that the free add-on mentioned in the article can be applied to certain attachments.

I would recommend giving that a try and see if it helps you accomplish what you need.
