I am upgrading from Confluence 2.10 to Confluence 4.3. We are using OpenSSO 8.1 at the moment. Is this compatible with Confluence 4.3?
All help is much appreciated
Hi!
Confluence does not support SSO out-of-the-box. You need an add-on, call authenticator, specifically for you SSO service. Typically this authenticators are provided by third party companies or you implement it by yourself. So you have to check this add-on or the documentation of the vendor.
Hope this helps to to take a step forward!
The only bit I would add to the above is to make sure that you go from Confluence 2.10 -> 2.7.4 -> 3.5.x -> 4.3.7 those stopover points pick up necessary changes. It is important too that you check funcationality at each of those steps.
