PDF Formatting

Hello,

I'm looking for a guide on how to format PDF export for confluence. I don't want to use a plug in and want to see what we can do with Atlassians own PDF formatting. 

I understand i will need to amend the PDF Layout, etc but am not 100% sure how to do this? We are looking to export confluence pages that use the Jira macro and want the formatting of the table we are creating to look readable as well as having images viewable too.

Any help or guidance would be great.
