Page editor freezes up on random pages

Hello! I have come across this problem few times now where the page editor freezes up and the text or any content, not even page sections can not be(picture below) edited/removed.  

Blue line shows those three wider/lighter section frames that differs from the normal page section frame on the bottom below. Broken sections can not be deleted manually nor using ''delete section''- tool on the page editor tool bar. 

Tried to fix the problem as follows:

1. System upgrade AND weekly program restart - Not working

2. Co-editing app restart/on -> Off  - did not help

3. Copying the page with the full content - section blocks still non editable

What causes this problem, and how to fix this??

Hi Maria, looking at Atlassian's Jira site, (jira.atlassian.com) I can see several issues that pertained to freezing.  Some couldn't be reproduced in older code.  I only found this one that was still open: CONFSERVER-81894

Another thing to try would be try different browsers, different users, even different PCs to see if you have the same behavior.  I've seen other page rendering issues with Confluence pages that have a lot of data on them.  If you temporarily strip down your page, does it still happen?

Seeing you aren't on the latest Server code, as several of these reported issues can't be reproduced, another thing to look at would be updating to the latest code to see if it's still a problem there,
